  Federation of American Scientists - This is like a catalogue of weapons, weapon systems, and weapons uses. You will find things here that you thought you were never allowed to know. Although weapons isn't the only subject, it's the most factual source of information I've found on the subject. Poke around - you'll leave in shock.  
  Should be required reading.  The best example of the control under which our media spins. This is hard to believe truth that will impact your view on current events.... it sure did mine.
  Washington Report on Middle East Affairs- A mind liberating, very informative, and fact based sight which utilizes historical context, economics and politics in the analysis of this quagmire known as the Middle East.  
  Middle East Watch provides alternative news and analysis of the entire Middle East Area. Detail analysis and information reguarding this historical hot bed.  
  Jews United against Zionism. A much ignored group - useful in making a distinction between anti-semetism and anti-zionism  
  From the Globalist Research Center. Exposes globalism and its perpetrators, but also points the way toward positive solutions. Follow the Money.  
  In getting away from the current head programming of conservative v. liberal and Capitalism v. Socialism, this site seems to put things in a more realistic spotlight of reality.  
  At first you'll think it's socialist.... read on.. it's practical, realistic and not so common sense (but it should be).  
  Pissed off American. A matter of citizen rights.  
  Immigration: These two cites are excellent. What are the rules, who makes the rules, and what is happening that they don't want you to know, who is benefiting from the dilution of our system.. A downplayed issue by much of the media, in this country and others, in spite of the profound ramifications.  
   
  Take it back, bipass it, or go for alternatives.  
  Pointing out stories that are ignored as well as spun. An omission of truth is a lie. Very good analysis of how current events are presented by the corporate media in their failing attempt at social engineering.  
  A step back on the stories presented in the corporate media. Analysis of the story of the stories - the presentation - in an attempt to identify how they were framed. Sifting through the rhetoric identifies the bias, and allows for the identification of what questions need to be asked.
